Australian kids will love the new ABC For Kids Activity Centre from Dataworks, with an excellent combination of characters from their favourite television shows, including the Bananas in Pyjamas, Play School, Mr Squiggle and the Hooley Dooleys.

With six different activities to choose from, there is something for every child aged three to ten years. Parents will be happy to know that their children are not only having fun, but also learning and developing computer skills.

For the littlies there is a Play School radio which plays an assortment of nursery rhymes, and also Hooley Dooleys music videos to watch. There are scenes to finish with the Bananas in Pyjamas and all their friends from Cuddles Avenue. Children can choose a scene before adding and arranging their favourite characters.

For children with some mouse skills there are click and drag jigsaw puzzles featuring scenes from Fairies, and dot to dot puzzles to complete with Mr Squiggle. Completed pictures can be coloured using the magic paint box or printed out for traditional colouring fun.

Older children will enjoy completing mazes with the characters from Magic Mountain, by using keyboard arrows to move through mazes from start to finish.

Educational outcomes promoted by this title include counting, problem solving, hand-eye coordination, matching, listening and creativity. Computing skills developed include mouse and keyboard skills as well as increased confidence in computer usage. Children as young as three will have success with the activities on this CD ROM.
