CD & Video Review: Oopsadazee, The Hooley Dooleys
Reviewed by Sally Murphy

Another lively offering from the Hooley Dooleys.

The Hooley Dooleys' seventh video and CD release continues their trend of combining fun with learning. The variety of musical styles they use - from ballads through to lively pop rhythms - is another trademark.

In Oopsadazee, The Hooley Dooleys enter the magical world of their friends Tickle the Doodat and Russel the Kangaroo, a magical place where strawberries grow over night, hats sprout wings and noodles can dance.

A departure from previous video releases is the use of animation and special effects which kids will love. The Hooley Dooleys also meet three new characters - Poss the Possum and two cockatoos called Chalk and Cheese.

A special bonus track reflects a very important message - timely with the heat of summer upon us - regarding pool safety. 'Look Up, Look Out' is a song written and performed by the Hooley Dooleys for the Royal Life Saving Society. The film clip also features Australian swimmers Hayley Lewis and Kieran Perkins with their children.

Oopsadazee will stimulate and entertain your preschooler. Great fun.

Oopsadazee is available from all ABC shops and leading music and video retailers, for $19.95 (Video), $14.95 (CD) and $9.95 (Tape)
