CD Review: RC Hottest Hits

The ABC's Rollercoaster (RC) concept has drawn in the 6 to 14 age group to its magazine, website and tv programs (including Angela Anaconda, De Grassi and The Saddle Club). Now, RC has launched its first collection of music aimed squarely at the pre-teen age group. Because it is RC approved, parents can know that it is kid-friendly, and children can know it is undoubtedly cool.The 20 tracks on RC Hottest Hits include top 40 tracks including Sahkaya's Cinderella and the fun Ketchup Song as well as a few aimed at the younger end of the age group like the Wiggle's popular version of Eagle Rock and the Saddle Club theme song Hello World. This is real music for kids who have moved beyong baby songs, but who may be not quite ready for some of the more grown up music and lyrics. Good stuff. RC Hottest Hits, ABC Music, 2003
