The only thing wrong with the ABC's televison programming for young children is that it isn't on when you most need it. Kids need entertaining at different times of the day and, when they watch television, want to see their favourite characters NOW.

Thankfully, ABC for Kids regular produces compilations of some of the most popular shows on DVD and Video. This latest offering, Let's Sing and Dance offers episodes and/or musical tracks from six favourite shows - The Hooley Dooleys, Bob the Builder, Spot, Thomas the Tank Engine, Franklin and Bananas in Pyjamas. All the episodes have a musical theme and songs that kids can dance to, making this an interactive viewing experience.

This offering will appeal to preschoolers (and to their parents) who will delight in seeing characters they already know available outside regular timeslots.
